Community Consultation and Engagement
It is essential for Melvich Community SCIO to understand the views of our local community and to communicate with our community. We plan to undertake community consultation and engagement exercises periodically to help inform us of the views of our community and also to update the community on what we are doing. This process was started under Melvich Village Hall Association (MVHA) and is being continued under Melvich Community SCIO. Prior to MVHA consulting the local community on their views related to the village hall, Strathy North Wind Farm panel commissioned the Lairg & District Learning Centre to conduct a public consultation exercise in our community. The results of this consultation are also shown here for completeness.
