Melvich Community SCIO do not currently hold a Public Entertainment Licence.
A Public Entertainment Licence is needed if an entry fee is charged for entertainment in a village hall to support Hall fundraising. It should be noted that Highland Council are entitled to restrict the use of the premises to a specific kind of entertainment or recreation, to limit the number of persons to be admitted and to fix the days and times when the premises may be used for entertainment or recreation.
Our predecessor charity, Melvich Village Hall Association, did hold one however this has not been renewed as the village hall was closed due to COVID-19 and the hall is now in the process of being replaced with our new community hub. In the future it is planned for Melvich Community SCIO to hold a Public Entertainment Licence once the new community hub is available for use and we will upload a copy of this licence to this webpage for reference in due course.
Files coming soon.
